The posed shot has its place. But the photo you’ll reach for years from now is almost never the one you planned — it’s the half-laugh between takes, the hand you didn’t know was being held.
So we work quietly. We watch more than we direct. We wait for the day to forget we’re in the room.

We watch first.
The camera comes up when something real is happening, not on a schedule.
We keep it warm.
